Now I only say this to TRY to explain to you the HUGE change the MINUTE we got to ICS. ( Not that ICU did try. They did everything short of stand on their heads to get a smile or reaction from this girl. We got wonderful care in the PICU) WE got to her new room and she started talking, interacting, asking for toys, and even laughing!!! It's like she comfortable and not afraid, like she was home! That made me wonder if she really thinks these rooms are her new home. She's been here about a month and a half. I hope she knows that one day we WILL go home to her very own room! ( and her puppy cash)
Barb and Danny came up this morning. Once B finally decided to wake up and join the party, she was happy to play with them. Ryan and Becky Henrie came too. They brought B a darling little animal ( and Becky she LOVES it now that she's not pouting )
So over all today I went from having a depressed baby, to my normal, spunky/ happy/ spoiled/ bossy/ perfect/fun girl !
Birds on steroids now to help her liver behave. It also increases your appetite and she's now so hungry she'll eat a horse.
This is Dr Vu. Her first day on service. ( like 2 hours in). Bird got the call for her liver!!! Now, on her last day, B got out of ICU. She's our lucky charm!!
Such great news. I can't begin to imagine how hard it was to you to see your little Bird so depressed. Funny (not funny ha ha) how things
