2 weeks!

Can you believe it! 2 weeks since this little rat had surgery. I can NOT believe how well she's doing. Today she was more lively and playful then I've seen her in months. I can tell that she's starting to feel better. I wonder what she thinks about not itching and being able to wiggle with out that big ol belly in the way. And just all the other things that always felt crummy are gone now!

She will just feel better Nd better each day ( instead of the opposite) and its ao fun to watch. It's all over! All those worries and concerns are gone. We have a few new ones, but there's defiantly been some huge progress  

Today they took one of her drains out and she just has one left! We took out the line in her neck. And put in a new PICC. 

She played with physical and speech therapy today and had a blast at both!!

This is B's PT. She wore her Minnie shirt just for Berk. 

Then we blew bubbles and B did it all by herself. Thanks Higbees for the bubbles!

After that bird played with Harry for a while. 

She was all giggles today I love her so much! 

After that a real dog IZZY came to see bird, and oh was she happy! Izzy comes every Tuesday. Just to see kids on this unit. 

Bird loved Izzy's bow!

And her long hair. 

After a minute bird put her arm around her and they watched Minnie together. 

After that we had a bath and then did our nails. Bird even painted our nurse Irish's nails for him. She's always so thoughtful. 

Bird took a nap and when she woke up she had a new surprise!!

Then this giggly girl and I made funny faces for almost an hour! Man we know how to have a good time! 

Then it was time to get 2 new IVs and head down for her PICC.  

When bird got back to her room she had some visitors waiting. And MAN was she ready to preform. She was funny enough with the drugs. But when they wore off the party continued. She was quite the show off. 

Right when she saw Nicole she reached for her. And then she made Travis share his hat for a minute.  Then he showed her some fun videos on his phone. 

She really likes Travis and Nicole 

Thanks you two for taking the time to come over to see us. We both had such a good time. You are AMAZING friends and we are so lucky to have ya! 

Bird had a great 2 week liver birthday! Thanks everyone!!!
